What does IMMUNOCAL do?
IMMUNOCAL is a safe way to boost your energy and support your immune system. It helps address many major challenges namely, tiredness, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, breathlessness, pressure sores, oxidative stress, immune deficiency, and wasting.
Is IMMUNOCAL toxic or harmful?
NO. IMMUNOCAL has no proven or known toxicity. It has less than 1% lactose. We recommend that persons who have a milk protein allergy or those who have had an organ transplant consult a physician before taking IMMUNOCAL.
Can I take IMMUNOCAL with nutritional supplements and prescribed medicines?
YES. IMMUNOCAL is not known to affect adversely any other prescribed medicines or nutritional supplements such as Ensure, Boost, or Juven. In fact, IMMUNOCAL will add missing ingredients that are vital to your health and immune system.
Are there any interactions or side effects with taking Immunocal?
There are no documented adverse effects or interactions. One thing to be aware of is that Immunocal is a natural detoxifying agent. Depending on your toxic level, you may early on experience short term minor detoxification effects such as minor skin eruptions ("pimples"), aches, etc. If you are extremely toxic (on lots of medication, etc.) I recommend that you start with 1/2 pack for 1 week and ramp up the serving size. Remember, detoxing is a good thing!
I'm a healthy individual. Which Immunocal should I take and how much?
Regular Immunocal is an excellent choice if you have normal activities and youth. After age 40, you may decide to move to the Platinum product to benefit from the mental clarity and cell replication support. As far as serving size, with normal activities, you can probably use 1 pack a day and go to 2 when we are under stress or minor illness. If you are highly active, the activity normally reduces glutathione levels as the body deals with the byproducts of exercise. You would benefit from trying 2 packs a day as the soreness and recovery times should improve and you protect yourself against glutathione depletion. World class athletes have used 3 or more packs a day. Remember, as a food supplement, we are not concerned with overdosing. Just adjust total daily protein intake accordingly. Higher intakes benefit from the Platinum's formula for acid production neutralization.
I have a chronic condition(s). Which Immunocal should I take and how much?
Chronic conditions usually benefit most from higher amounts of the product. 2 to 3 packs a day are not unusual. As you go higher in packs, the Platinum products acid neutralizing formula has benefits. Also, in neurological nutritional support, the Platinum product's Redox Modulating Formula is suggested. Again, monitor total protein intake and adjust accordingly.
